The Snakehead is a natural predator so is not a community fish and should be kept with other fish that are too big to be considered food.

Temperature Range – 25 - 27°C
pH Range – 6.5 – 7.8
Special Requirements - A large tank with plenty of space.
Tanks Mates and Compatibility – Though they are not particularly aggressive however they are predatory and will see smaller tank mates as food.
Feeding – They are carnivorous and enjoy meaty foods including prawns, white fish, frozen or fresh tubifex, bloodworm etc.
