Spotted Skiffa
Skiffia multipunctata
The Spotted Skiffia (Skiffia multipunctata) is a livebearing fish native to central Mexico. Males are known for their golden bodies speckled with dark spots, while females are more subdued in colour. They prefer slow-moving, plant-filled waters and are peaceful, making them suitable for species-only or calm community tanks. Their unique appearance and gentle nature make them a favourite among keepers of lesser-known livebearers, and they do well in well-maintained aquariums with stable conditions.
