The clown plec is a hardy and pretty pleco that doesn't grow quite as large as a common plec and is also a fantastic algae eater.  A nice peaceful and easy-keeping fish this will feed on most things. We have stuck to the basics, Hikari pellets and veg is their main diet currently.

Adult Length:  7cm

Temperature Range 20-29°C

pH Range: 5.5-7.5

Special Requirements: Need a hiding place.

Tanks Mates:  They are a good community fish as they are peaceful..

Feeding:  They should be fed a variety of algae wafers, spirulina based flake and also vegetable matter like cucumber and lettuce.
