Black Peru Corydoras
Corydoras semiaquilus
This peaceful bottom-dweller is best kept in small shoals of five or more. Known for its dark body and shimmering undertones, the Black Peru Corydoras adds contrast and activity to community aquariums. A soft sand or smooth gravel substrate is essential to protect their sensitive barbels. Provide ample hiding spots using driftwood, plants, and caves. Their calm temperament makes them ideal tankmates for other non-aggressive species.

Special Requirements - The main thing with Corys is to ensure that they do get food. In a busy community environment, feed some sinking micro-pellets to make sure the Corys get some.
Tanks Mates and Compatibility - They are a good community fish as they are peaceful, especially if kept in groups.
Feeding - Will accept most quality feed that sinks to the bottom.

The fish are selected at random however you are welcome to make a note on the order and the fish manager will do his best for you. This is dependent on current stock at the time of your order.
