The Clown Knife fish, also known as the Clown Featherback and Spotted Knife fish should be housed in large aquariums as it can grow to a ginormous 3ft! They will eat small fish if given the opportunity and they will eat anything that they can get into their mouths.
They are Mainly nocturnal and so should be housed with subdued lighting to fully appreciate them

pH Range – 5.5 – 7.0
Special Requirements - Need a smooth substrate as they will spend most of their time on the bottom. Susceptible to high Nitrate.
Tanks Mates and Compatibility – They are semi-aggressive so tank mates should be robust enough to handle a bit of a tussle on occasion. They will also eat anything that fits in their mouths.
Feeding – Carnivores, they will eat virtually anything that they can get in their mouths. They love snails and shrimps but will take any quality pellet.
