The Snakehead is a natural predator so is not a community fish and should be kept with other fish that are too big to be considered food. It may also eat small Invertabrates within the tank.

Temperature Range – 22-30°C
pH Range – 5.5 – 8.0
Special Requirements - A large tank with plenty of space. Relatively unfussy although the aquarium should be well planted and hiding places among roots and rocks should be provided
Tanks Mates and Compatibility – Though they are not particularly aggressive however they are predatory and will see smaller tank mates as food, species only is recommened.
Feeding – Carnivorous. All kind of living fishfood is accepted like artemia, bloodworm, mosquito larvae, shrimps, insects, snails and especially earthworm. Frozen and dried pallets are accepted.
