Also known as a climbing perch, this fish is a stunning odd ball. It is slow growing bubble nester. Its stunning colouration make it very attractive to the aquarist but it is important to remember that it is a predator and will eat small fish. They like a well planted tank.

Special Requirements - They prefer soft, slightly acidic water and are best kept in a small school.
Tanks Mates and Compatibility – The are a slow growing predator. When adult, they will eat small fish so should be kept with fish their own size or larger.
Feeding – Carnivores, they prefer live food in the form of daphnia, brine shrimp or blood worm. However, they will take small floating pellet food.
