Wallago attu is a large, freshwater catfish species native to rivers and lakes in South and Southeast Asia. Known as the "Helicopter Catfish" it has an elongated body and can grow up to 2 meters long. It’s a predatory fish, feeding on other fish, frogs, and crustaceans, with a distinctive, flat, broad head and sharp teeth. Wallago attu is popular among anglers due to its size and strength.

Temperature Range – 26 - 28°C
pH Range – 6.4 – 7.6
Tanks Mates and Compatibility – Peaceful however, may try to eat smaller tankmates.
Feeding - Algae wafers, sinking tablets, frozen bloodworm and frozen brineshrimp are all sought out.

Feeding – Omnivore, but ideally a sinking food should be provided. Keep well fed to avoid any of its tank mates becoming an exspensive meal!
