The Apistogramma Diamond Face are an attractive species but are best housed alone, though can be kept with similar sized / smalled tank mates given a big enough tank were terratories can be made.

Temperature Range 23 to 28°C

pH Range: 4.0-6.0

Special Requirements: Floating cover and natural decor is prefered, and regular water changes every week are essential. 

Tanks Mates:  Other types of Apistogramma should be avoided. They are best housed alone

Feeding: . The are carnivorous and should be regularly given live food like bloodworm, Daphina and Brine shrimp. 
They will also accept a dried alternative.
