The Pantano Cichlid (Cichla temminckii) is a large, predatory cichlid native to South America, specifically in the Amazon and Orinoco river basins.                                      

Adult Length:  50-70cm

Temperature Range: 24 - 26°C

pH Range: 7.0

Special Requirements: A large tank with plenty of swimming space is essential, with plenty of rocks and wood for them to use as territories.

Tanks Mates:  The Pantano Cichlid is not a community fish and should be kept with similar sized/bigger tank mates that share the same temperament. Anything smaller will be seen as diiner!!

Feeding: . The Pantano Cichlid is not fussy and will eat pretty much anything on offer, including smaller tank mates!
