These fish spend most of their time hidden away. They enjoy feeding in soft bottomed debris and come out more frequently when food is presented in fron of them. Not often seen in aquariums anymore they are not the easiest of fish to source. These little fish do like to nessle in amungst like plant roots so be careful if the tank does contain live aquarium plants.

Temperature Range – 22 - 26°C
pH Range – 6..5 - 7.8
Special Requirements - Plenty of oxygen is the key.
Tanks Mates and Compatibility – They are suitable for a community take and are less territorial that the similar Garra.
Feeding – They arre omnivours and not fussy about what they eat.
