Royal Botia Loach
Syncrossus helodes
A striking freshwater fish native to Southeast Asia. Known for its vibrant greenish body and dark tiger-like stripes, this loach is an active and semi-aggressive species best kept in groups of five or more. It thrives in well-oxygenated aquariums with plenty of hiding spots. As a bottom-dweller, it helps control pest snails while adding lively energy to any aquatic setup.

Temperature Range – 25 - 29°C
pH Range – 6.0 – 7.0
Special Requirements - They prefer a tank with good water flow.
Tanks Mates and Compatibility – This is a boisterous fun loach that should be kept with bigger tank mates and with others if its own kind.

Feeding – They prefer to feed on the bottom, sifting through the substrate. Sinking pellets and frozen foods are ideal.
