These fish were sent to us by mistake from our supplier, unfortunatley, we are not entirley certain what species these are. Research and help from our customers indicates they are most likley one of the two species names listed above. If you have any thoughts, please let us know!
Lepidocephalus spectrum is a species of freshwater loach found in Southeast Asia, particularly in slow-moving rivers and streams with sandy or muddy bottoms. It belongs to the Cobitidae family and is known for its slender body, mottled coloration, and barbels around its mouth, which help it search for food. L. spectrum is a bottom-dweller, feeding on small invertebrates and organic debris.

Adult Length – 7-8cm
Temperature Range – 22 - 26°C
pH Range – 6..5 - 7.8
Special Requirements - Plenty of oxygen is the key.
Tanks Mates and Compatibility – They are suitable for a community.

Feeding – They arre omnivours and not fussy about what they eat.
