Community – especially when young!
The Red-tailed Zebra Loach is a small, active freshwater fish (Botia striata or Schistura mahnerti) with a distinctive black-and-white striped pattern, a vibrant red tail, and a flattened body. They are primarily carnivorous but also eat snails, prefer cooler water, and are social but need hiding spaces in a community tank.
