Giant Otocinclus

The Otocinclus is a great addition to the planted peaceful community tank and a school of them can make a great addition to the clean up crew! They can be quite shy at times and do need plenty of hiding places. They will also not do well with aggressive tank mates.

Special Requirements – This catfish can be intolerant of nitrate so it is important to keep on top of your water changes.
Tanks Mates and Compatibility – This cat fish is placcid. It is often kept in community situations. Aggressive tank mates should be avoided but, for some reason, they can be great tank mates for the otherwise aggressive dwarf puffer.
Feeding – Primarily herbivores, their diet of algae should be supplemented with vegetable matter as well as algae wafers.

The fish are selected at random however you are welcome to make a note on the order and the fish manager will do his best for you, requests are dependent on stock at the time of your order.
