Sun Catfish
Horabagrus brachysoma
The Sun Catfish (Horabagrus brachysoma) is a striking freshwater fish known for its golden-yellow coloration and peaceful nature. Native to rivers in India, it can grow up to 45 cm (18 inches) and thrives in large, well-filtered aquariums. Mostly nocturnal, it prefers hiding spots during the day and becomes active at night. While generally peaceful, it may eat smaller tankmates.

Special Requirements - Prefer slightly soft water but not too fussy.
Tanks Mates and Compatibility – The Sun Cat is not aggressive but it will eat small tetras if it can!

Feeding – This cat is an omnivore and not picky about food. It will eat anything. Will accept most quality feed that sinks to the bottom.
