The Red Apple Crab It is a semi aquatic crab and should have access to an area of dry land with fine sandy substrate and rocks or drift wood or coconut matting.  A tight fitting lid is also essential!
Due to their size they are perfect for smaller sized aquariums. 

Species – Red Apple Crab - Metasesarma aubryi

Current Size – 4cm - 5cm

Adult Length – 5cm

Temperature Range – 22– 27°C

pH Range – 7.5 – 8.5

Special Requirements - They need plenty of hiding spaces and like to crawl amongst plants. They should be provided with an area of dry land to scavenge on.

Tanks Mates and Compatibility – Red Apple Crabs are scavengers and hunters. They will try to catch your fish and if successful, they will eat them.  Bear this in mind as your guppies will be expensive crab food!

Feeding –  Crabs will eat anything and everything as you would expect.

The fish are selected at random however you are welcome to make a note on the order and the fish manager will do his best for you, requests are dependent on stock at the time of your order.
