The Red Titanic Pleco is absolutely stunning! Originating from the clear waters of the Rio Tapajos in Brazil. It is territorial and largely carnivorous and will grow to 30cm+ so requires plenty of room.

Temperature Range 23-27°C

pH Range: 5.5-7.5

Special Requirements: Needs a hiding place! It is important to ensure that they receive enough food, especially in a tank of voracious feeders. Feeding just before your turn out the light in the evening can be a good option.

Tanks Mates:  They are a good community fish as they are peaceful except to other plecs when they can be territorial..

Feeding:  The L273 Pleco will eat almost anything. It will hoover the bottom for any waste food, eat algae off the sides and plants. It there is no other food available, it will eat almost any other diet that is offered. In the wild it is mainly carnivorous and so should be offered regular high protein pellets.
