Now these are special. Its not every day we stock this beautiful fish. They are highly sort after. They are found in the fast flowing waters of Indonesia and therefore require a fast flowing tank set up.
Staying fairly small and not known to exceed over 4cm they are great for smaller aquariums. They prefer a meaty diet so try and provide things like prawns for them to nibble on.
The males are truely incredible, they display some fantastic blue and red colouration during breeding.

Temperature Range – 21 - 27°C
pH Range – 6.5 – 7
Special Requirements - Can be kepts happily in fresh water but the addition of a little salt will do no harm.
Tanks Mates and Compatibility – Most fish of similar size and peaceful temperament.
Feeding – They are a micro-predator and there feed should be high in protein although most preparitary foods will be fine. Love frozen or live food.
