These are a beautiful little species which can be tricky to keep. They require a very low pH and soft water and therefore RO water is reccomended.        

Adult Length cm: 4 cm.

Temperature Range: 23 - 29°C

pH Range: 5.0-6.8

Special Requirements: They prefer a slow moving aquarium. They should not be introduced to an immature aquarium as they are susceptible to deteriorating water quality.

Tanks Mates:  Other species which can tolerate low pH set ups.

Feeding: . Daphnia is a great food source, live or frozen is fine.
