This is a stunning member of the Apisto family, this fish isnt often seen in aquariums but is a beautiful fish. They prefer a much more sheltered set up so please make sure that you have plenty of hiding places for them. They are not an aggressive species unless bredding. These fish are found in the amazon river and therefore tanks mates should be from the same area.

Feeding - In the aquarium live and frozen foods such as ArtemiaDaphniaMoina and chironomid larvae (bloodworm) should be offered regularly although most species will also learn to accept dried alternatives with pelleted products generally preferred to flake.
