The Ramshorn snail is a good Algae Eating and Clean up snail but it can also be partial to some vareities of plants. They do not thrive in soft water as they need calcium to build their shells properly.

pH Range – 7.1 – 8.5

Tanks Mates and Compatibility – They are pretty easy and hardy so can thrive in almost any aquarium environment. 

Feeding –  They are great scavengers and will eat detritus, alage and waste food. Supplementary wafers or pellets should be given where necessary and they should be rich in calcium.
