Part of the wood catfish family these species are all fairly similar. Dark water and lots of hiding spaces is key. They love tucking themselves away in rocks or woody areas and generally only come out to feed. When they do they are incredible. They will their bellies to the maximum and bulge out like a balloon.

Tanks Mates and Compatibility – Can live in almost any community, however smaller fish may be seen as food.
Feeding – This cat is an omnivore and not picky about food. It will eat anything. Will accept most quality feed that sinks to the bottom.
