Filtration:

The 126, 150 and 180 models come with Eheim Biopower internal filters. These offer multiple layers of filtering just like you would find with an Eheim external canister filter. 

 

The modular filter design has a prefilter cartridge followed by closed filter baskets. These are linked together with the "Easy Click" locking system for simple connection and detachment. 

At the base of the filter where the water enters, the mechanical prefilter cartridge removes solid matter before the water enters the biological media in the baskets. These baskets are filled with the highly efficient Eheim SUBSTRATpro sintered quartz media.

Also includes a power diffuser for strong oxygen enrichment and spray bar for natural surface movement although only one item can be used at a time. 

As an advanced internal filter, these are especially good for planted and peaceful community aquariums. 

For the largest model in the range, the vivalineLED 240, an Eheim Ecco 300 external canister filter is included.

 

The Eheim Ecco Pro external filters have so many qualities. They give outstanding filtering performance, have powerful yet energy efficient motors, built to a high standard, easy to use, and inexpensive to buy. Ecco Pro filters are a very good choice for tropical community and planted aquariums.

 

The Ecco Pro’ feature the following:

A multi-function handle for self-priming, carrying, and opening and closing of the filter. 

Adjustable shut off taps, which not only open and close but also swivel around to make installation easier.

Exceptionally quiet. This is helped by having low wattage motors which include high-performance ceramic shafts and bearings to hold the impeller. 

The best possible water flow through, because it has a combination of excellent filter media and well-designed baskets. 

Ecco-Pro filters come with a prefilter for low maintenance and long intervals between cleaning. 

A long-life elastic silicon sealing ring is fitted on the pump head for easy priming, and safe closing after cleaning.

All of which makes these filters simple to set up and easy to use. The filters come complete and ready to use with a prefilter pad, mechanical & biological media, an activated carbon, and fine filter pads. 

 

Heating:

Also included is an Eheim thermocontrol aquarium heater. Formerly known as a Jaeger aquarium heater, these Eheim models are ultra-modern electronic thermal devices for heating your aquarium. 

The temperature can be precisely adjusted from 18° to 34°c and recalibrated if required. 

The control accuracy is +/- 0.5°c. 

The heat is kept at a constant level and the heating function is indicated by a control lamp. 

These heaters are made with a laboratory quality glass jacket which enlarges the heating surface and ensures optimum even heat emission. 

The heater also has built-in Thermo Safety Control, which automatically switches the heater off should it run dry. 

It is fully submersible and is virtually unbreakable under normal operating conditions. 

 

Lighting:

The vivalineLED aquariums are supplied with the energy efficient Eheim daylight (6500k) classicLED lighting which are perfect for most fish and plants. These are easily also movable for maintenance and there is plenty of room to add additional lighting such as the bright sunlight 8350k ‘classicLED plants’ which will enhance the aquarium further.

 

To finish the vivalineLED’s off, covering frames have been firmly fitted on the top (including openings for all leads, pipework, and other upgrades) with sliding cover panes made of high-quality aluminium composite panels to provide easy access to the aquarium.
