Pim Pictus
Pimelodus pictus
Community – with caution.
The Pictus Catfish is one of the smaller varieties of the antenna catfish. It is one of the more peaceful catfish and its beautiful body sheen and activity make it and ideal candidate for the larger community aquarium, especially if the water is a bit softer. They will eat anything that can easily fit in their mouths. They are great scavengers and will clear up any waste food that is on the bottom. They can be kept together or singly as they do not seem bothered either way.
