The Chubby Pleco is a relatively peaceful plec suitable for most community aquariums. They are able to change their colour from grey to a golden shade. These fish are incredible and are very rarely seen! 
 

Adult Length:  22cm

Temperature Range 22-27°C

pH Range: 5.8-7.2

Special Requirements: Needs a hiding place! It is important to ensure that they receive enough food, especially in a tank of voracious feeders. Feeding just before your turn out the light in the evening can be a good option. 

Tanks Mates:  They are a good community fish as they are peaceful. However smaller fish and shrimp may be seen as dinner. 

Feeding:  The Chubby Plec will accept sinking pellets and algae wafers as well as meaty foods fozen or live including daphnia, bloodworms, brine shrimp etc
