Pinocchio Shrimp

Community - Does require soft water to thrive.
These shrimp typically dwell in between small rocks/pebbles, and in the deeper waters, they colonise larger rock formations.
They are known to be intolerant of temperatures lower than 25.5 °C, which can kill them, they require soft water and also require water pH levels to be no less than 7.0.

pH Range – 7.5 – 8.5
Special Requirements - They prefer a well planted tank, and moss or Riccia will provide them with a snack.
Tanks Mates and Compatibility – These little shrimps can make a meal for a lot of tropical fish so the main tank mates have to be small and placid.
Feeding – They are an omnivore, eating algae, detritus and left over food. They are constant grazers on algae but if this is lacking in the tank supply them with algae wafers or a crushed flake, or shrimp pellets.

The fish are selected at random however you are welcome to make a note on the order and the fish manager will do his best for you, requests are dependent on stock at the time of your order.
