Borneo Leaf Fish

Nandus nebulosus

The Bornean Leaf fish, Nandus nebulosus, is a unique member of the Nandidae family found in Thailand and Indonesia. These fish have a leaf-like shape and colouration, with a light brown body and irregularly shaped dark brown vertical bars. Males can be differentiated from females by their longer fins, especially the dorsal and anal fins. Nandus nebulosus is a relatively large fish, reaching around 12cm/4.5" in size. They prefer heavily planted aquariums with hiding places and should be kept with larger, non-aggressive tankmates

Current Size – 2-3cm

Adult Length – 12cm

Temperature Range – 22 - 25°C
