The ISTA Glass Surface Skimmer 12mm is an excellent piece of equipment for any aquarium that uses an external filter. This piece of pipework doubles as a return inlet and a surface skimmer for your aquarium. The skimming ability is very efficient thus resulting in a clean water surface which in turn provide excellent gas exchange. The amount of skimming is adjustable thanks to the inlet flow control at the bottom of the pipework allowing you to have a heavy skim or a gentler skim. The skimmer inlet can adjust itself thanks to the design, it traps air under the skimmer to that it remains level with the water surface even after evaporation. The pipework comes with 2 transparent suction cups to keep the sleek, minimalistic, and unobtrusive design.
