Cyprichromis leptosoma Speckleback Moba
Cyprichromis leptosoma Speckleback Moba is a type of cichlid fish native to Lake Tanganyika in Africa. They are known for their distinctive speckled appearance and slender, elongated body shape. Moba is a specific locality where this variant of C. leptosoma is found. These fish are popular in the aquarium hobby due to their vibrant colors, active schooling behavior, and relatively small size, making them suitable for medium-sized aquariums.

Special Requirements - All African Cichlids are territorial although the Leptosoma is not particularly aggressive. They need space and a plenty of swimming area with a good lid as they can jump!
Tanks Mates and Compatibility – Other Lake Tanganyikan cichlids and also some Malawis. Haplochromis species usually work quite well.
Feeding – Peacocks are omnivorous and can easily be fed in an aquarium on such live or frozen foods as: bloodworms, mosquito larvae, crustaceans, snails, and Tubifex. These fish also readily take pellets and flakes.
