The Arowana are relatively peaceful fish, but as well as needing a big tank they also have big appetites so we would not advise housing them with tank mates that are small enough to fit in their mouth.
A good sized tank with a moderate degree of moving water is preferred along with a secure tank cover as they are known to escape if given the chance.

Special Requirements - A large tank with with some surface cover and water movement
Tanks Mates and Compatibility – They are mostly peaceful as long as tank mates are too large to swallow. Aggressive & territorial tank mates should also be avoided.
Feeding – They are carnivorous and enjoy meaty foods including praws, white fish, frozen or fresh tubifex, bloodworm etc.
