A rare and beautiful species of Loach that is rarely seem in the UK. Mainly a biolfilm and algae grazer, this loach is a great addition to the community clean up crew.
Species – Sumatran Hillstream Loach
Current Size – 6-7cm
Adult Length – 10cm
Temperature Range – 22 - 26°C
pH Range – 6..5 - 7.8
Special Requirements - Plenty of oxygen is the key.
Tanks Mates and Compatibility – They are suitable for a community take and are less territorial that the similar Garra.
Feeding – They arre omnivours and not fussy about what they eat although will primarily graze on algae and biofilm.
