The freshwater bumblebee goby is a small, brightly coloured fish native to Southeast Asia. Known for their distinctive yellow and black stripes resembling a bumblebee, they grow up to 2 cm in length. These gobies are only found in freshwater environments and are commonly seen in slow-moving rivers, ponds, and swamps. They are peaceful and relatively shy, often hiding among plants and rocks. Bumblebee gobies are carnivorous, feeding on small invertebrates like worms and insects.

Special Requirements - They prefer slow moving water and will only eat small foods.
Tanks Mates and Compatibility – These little gobies can be territorial although this is rarely a problem if they are mixed with most community fish. Avoid anything big with poor tails.
Feeding – They will mainly live food such as baby brine shrimp or daphnia.
