Cryptoheros cutteri
The Cutter’s cichlid (Cryptoheros cutteri) is a small, colorful freshwater fish native to Central America. Known for its vibrant blue and yellow hues, it thrives in warm, slow-moving rivers with plenty of hiding spots. Peaceful compared to many cichlids, it does well in community tanks with similar-sized fish.

Temperature Range – 24 – 28 °C
pH Range – 7.0-8.0
Special Requirements - As with other similar cichlids, this fish should be kept in a tank of 100L minimum. They require good water quality and a varied quality diet. They prefer a strong water movement in the tank.
Tanks Mates and Compatibility - A good Cichlid community fish and can be kept with other American cichlids of similar size and nature. They do become territorial during spawning and will excavate and uproot plants at this time.

Feeding - It is an omnivore and will eat almost everything that it is offered. Live or Frozen food should be given regularly along with flakes and pellets.
