The Peppermint Pleco is a relatively peaceful plec suitable for most community aquariums. 

Adult Length:  15cm

Temperature Range 22-26°C

pH Range: 6.45-7.5

Special Requirements: Needs a hiding place! A good amount of waterflow is required. Should be kept in tanks of at least 50 gallons 

Tanks Mates:  They are a good community fish as they are peaceful. However they are carnivores so smaller fish and shrimp may be seen as dinner. 

Feeding:  The Peppermint Plec will eat a mixed diet of algae and meaty foods fozen or live including daphnia, bloodworms, brine shrimp etc.

We always aim to supply the fish as close to the purchase size as possible. However if this is not possible, we will always contact you to discuss.

The fish are selected at random however you are welcome to make a note on the order and the fish manager will do his best for you. This is dependent on current stock at the time of your order.
