The Three-striped african Glass Catfish (Pareutropius Buffei) is a peacful active shoaling species native to Africa, Formerly known as Eutropiellus buffei, this midwater swimming, diurnal catfish is very often sold as “Debauwi catfish”

pH Range – 6.0– 7.5
Special Requirements: Needs a planted tank with open swimming areas and gental current.
Tanks Mates and Compatibility – They are a good community fish as they are peaceful and tank mates should be on a similar temperament. Do not keep it with very large or aggressive species, as it is easily intimidated.

Feeding – Will accept most dried, frozen and live foods. Bloodworm is a particular favourite, but keep the diet varied to keep the fish in good condition.
