Special Requirements - They like nice clean water. Regular water changes to keep down the nitrate are recommended.
Tanks Mates and Compatibility – Due to their peaceful nature, Rainbow Snakehead Gudgeons make excellent tank mates for other non-aggressive species that share similar water parameter requirements. Ideal tank companions include small to medium-sized community fish like tetras, rasboras, dwarf cichlids, and peaceful bottom dwellers such as Corydoras catfish.
Feeding – These omnivorous fish eagerly accept a varied diet comprising high-quality pellets, live or frozen foods such as bloodworms, brine shrimp, and even some plant matter. Offering a diverse diet ensures their optimal health and coloration.
