Orange Seam Pleco - Hemiancistrus guahiborum

This is pretty plec that doesn’t grow to a massive size, making it good for smaller aquariums. They are hardy and tolerant although they do become territorial so make sure there are plenty of hiding places. They are not a great Algae eater!

Adult Length: 15cm

Temperature Range 22-28°C

pH Range: 6.5-7.8

Special Requirements:  Fairly easy to keep.

Tanks Mates:  They are not aggressive to other tank dwellers although they will become territorial to their own kind and type.

Feeding: . An omnivore that requires a varied diet which includes a good percentage of high protein pellet and frozen/live food.
