Lybia tessellata is a species of small crab in the family Xanthidae. It is found in shallow parts of the tropical Indo-Pacific Ocean. They are found from the east coast of Africa in the Red Sea across Northern Japan and Northern and Eastern Hawaii.

Current Size –3cm

Adult Length – 3cm

Temperature Range – 22– 27°C

pH Range – 7.5 – 8.5

Special Requirements - They need plenty of hiding spaces and like to crawl amongst plants. They should be provided with an area of dry land to scavenge on.

Tanks Mates and Compatibility –Crabs are scavengers and hunters. They will try to catch your fish and if successful, they will eat them.  Bear this in mind as your guppies will be expensive crab food!

Feeding –  Crabs will eat anything and everything as you would expect.

The fish are selected at random however you are welcome to make a note on the order and the fish manager will do his best for you, requests are dependent on stock at the time of your order.
