The Albino Florida Gar is a rare and eye-catching freshwater fish known for its striking white to pale yellow coloration, pink or red eyes, and long, streamlined body. A unique color variation of the Florida Gar, this fish combines prehistoric looks with an elegant appearance, making it a standout addition to large freshwater aquariums and indoor ponds.
Despite its impressive appearance, the Albino Florida Gar is generally calm and thrives in spacious aquariums with excellent filtration and plenty of swimming room. As a carnivorous predator, it prefers a diet of high-quality frozen foods, fish, shrimp, and other protein-rich options. With proper care, stable water conditions, and a suitably sized environment, this fascinating species can live for many years and become the centerpiece of any collection.

pH Range – 5.0 - 7.5
Special Requirements - A good sized well panted tank with a lid is essential as they can be jumpers.
Tanks Mates and Compatibility – They will eat anything that fits into their mouths.
Feeding – Carnivores, they will eat virtually anything that they can get in their mouths. They love shrimps but will take any quality pellet. At present these guys are fed on Prawn, Bits of frozen fish and floating sticks.
